Many people believe that human trafficking is just an overseas problem, but it's not. It's happening in cities and suburbs known to be traditionally safe. Three of the thirteen cities that the FBI has identified as "high intensity" for child sex trafficking are located in California - Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego.*
The purpose of the ZOE Rescue Walk is to raise funds and bring awareness to the issue of child trafficking. All funds raised will support ZOE International's work to rescue and restore the lives of children who are victims of human trafficking.
Learning about human trafficking is a critical first step. To be a strong advocate, you must first learn the facts.
Our children deserve to be protected. If even one child is saved from a lifetime of trauma from being trafficked, we have done our job!
